Pre-wedding consultation -
as every wedding is different, we feel that each film should be unique. This can be in different styles of filming and editing. The most popular style, is simply a 'record of the day'. You may however, prefer e.g. a 'romantic style' film using soft focus, close ups, slow motion, and dubbed music in place of ambient sound. Alternatively, you may favour a more contemporary look with eg split screens, and faster changing images. W
e will be pleased to visit and discuss your individual requirements and ideas, and will bring along a selection of DVDs. A booking fee will secure our services for your wedding date.Rehearsal -
attendance, if possible, at your wedding rehearsal, to establish best filming positions, to familiarise ourselves with the schedule of events, and to check for any potential problems. Any filming restrictions can be discussed with the officiator.
Filming -
arrival at location (at least 1 hour prior) to set up video and sound equipment, take some 'establishing shots' and 'cut-ins' for the video (e.g. external and internal views of the venue, flower arrangements and decorations). Usually we would then film the key events - guests and wedding party arriving, ceremony (if permitted), photo-call, drinks, receiving line, reception layout, speeches, cake cutting, evening celebrations up to your 'first dance'. If you want us to stay later, we will.
Editing - the day's events will be creatively edited to form a watchable and entertaining film. Video - your video will be provided on DVD (but can be supplied VHS tape if required). |
