Typical Service Provided

Qualified Professional - friendly and personal attention of a qualified, and award-winning wedding videographer - Master Member of the Institute of Videography, Qualified Member of the Association of Professional Videomakers, awarded Best Wedding Video Production 2006, and named APV Wedding Videographer of the Year, 2006.

Pre-wedding consultation - as every wedding is different, I feel that each film should be unique.  This can be in different styles of filming and editing.  The most popular style for such an important event is a 'record of the day'.  Other styles can be incorporated for appropriate scenes.eg a 'romantic style' sequence using soft focus, close ups, slow motion.  I will be pleased to  discuss your individual requirements and ideas. A booking fee will secure my services for your wedding date.

Rehearsal - attendance, if possible, at your wedding rehearsal, to establish best filming positions, to familiarise myself with the schedule of events, and to check for any potential problems.  Any filming restrictions can be discussed with the officiator.

Filming - arrival at location (at least 1 hour prior) to set up video and sound equipment, take some 'establishing shots' and 'cut-ins' for the video (e.g. external and internal views of the venue, flower arrangements and decorations).  Usually I film the key events - guests and wedding party arriving, ceremony, photo-call, drinks, receiving line, reception layout, speeches, cake cutting, and evening celebrations up to your 'first dance'.  If you want me to stay later, I will.

Editing - the day's events will be creatively edited to form a watchable and entertaining film.

Video - your video will be provided on DVD.
